Deerin, Jr. Carol Oldenburg received a BFA Degree from Kutztown University, Kutztown, PA in 1977 and currently lives in York, PA where she has established a studio in a renovated garage behind her home. Carol’s award winning paintings have been included in curated and juried exhibits in galleries and museums across the country at such places as Sue Greenwood Fine Art, Laguna Beach, CA; Delaware Center for the Contemporary Arts; Carla Massoni Gallery, Chestertown, MD; The State Museum of Pennsylvania; and Rosenfeld Gallery, Philadelphia, PA. She is a participant in the “Art in the Embassies” program having displayed work at the American Embassy, Togo, Africa and as an invited guest at the White House for the 40th Anniversary of the program. Her work has been featured in numerous publications including issue #33 of New American Paintings and can be found in the permanent collections of the Harley Davidson Motor Company, Wellspan and Penn State University among others.
