Kevin Lehman Large Storage Jar 2006 Ceramic 42 x 28 x 28 inches Kevin Lehman is native to Lancaster County, Pennsylvania where his early exposure to a potter’s wheel in elementary school lead to his pursuit of ceramics throughout his education and life. He graduated from Millersville University in 2000 with a Bachelor’s degree in Art. After modest beginnings in a small backyard shed, Kevin was eventually able to relocate to his current studio, a 5000 square foot warehouse in downtown Lancaster, PA (site of the former Posey Iron Works). The present facility allows ample room for teaching classes and engaging in clay projects, large and small. Kevin has focused considerable attention to large works of pottery: colossal jars, tile fireplaces, grand wall decor and large exterior sculptures. He has lectured and given workshops extensively throughout the region as well as exhibiting his work in numerous festivals, gallery and museum exhibits.
