Steven Alvin Heffner River Hills or (Sleeping Susquehannock) acrylic 48 x 42 inches STEVEN ALVIN HEFFNER was born in York, Pennsylvania, in 1952. He attended and completed a three-year study program at the York Academy of Art under the instruction of William Falkler. Accomplished in a wide variety of styles, Heffner defines eclectic. His steel sculptures are bold and directional as is his striking style of post-impressionistic painting. Heffner's style can best be defined as boldly traditional impressionism reaching into the light, grounded in the good earth. Previously, Steven was the director of The Commerce Fine Art Studio, and is currently the director of Studio 323 in downtown York.
