Claire Giblin

Claire Giblin was born and educated
in New York City and studied at F.I.T.,
Lebanon Valley College, Millersville
University and Franklin & Marshall College.
Giblin is the recipient of national and
regional awards in art, including the
2002 Grumbacher Gold Medallion, and
the 2000 National Grand Prize Winner
of NAOFA. Giblin was honored as 2003
“Woman of the Year” by the Women’s
Center at Franklin & Marshall College.
She has curated exhibitions, led workshops
and lectures, participated in
government funded exhibitions, solo
shows, joint, invitational, national and
international juried exhibits, museum
and gallery exhibitions in the US, Spain,
Italy, Japan, New Zealand and Korea and
has served as juror and panelist for art
organizations and the Pennsylvania
Council of the Arts. Her work is in
national and international corporate,
museum and private collections. Former
co-owner of Pfenninger Gallery, Claire is
currently Curator of Collections at the
Phillips Museum of Art at Franklin &
Marshall College.
