Frances Donnelly Wolf received an
MA in Art History from Bryn Mawr
College, Bryn Mawr, PA, a BA in Studio
Art and History of Art from Franklin
and Marshall College, Lancaster, PA and
a BA from the School of Oriental and
African Studies of London University,
London, England. Her evocative narrative
paintings, incorporating everyday objects
and posed figures, visually articulate
phrases and segments of sentences she
collects from both poetry and prose.
Her work has been exhibited widely in
museums and galleries throughout the
region and have been included in juried
and curated group exhibitions at the
Lancaster Museum of Art; the State
Museum of Pennsylvania; YorkArts;
Lynden Gallery, Elizabethtown, PA;
and Franklin and Marshall College. Her
works have been featured in numerous
publications and are included in local,
private and public collections including
the Lancaster Museum of Art.Her spacious
studio is located in a renovated garage
beside her home in Mount Wolf, PA.
